Big Ferret Fact Finder Mission Statement:
The mission of the Big Ferret Fact Finder blog is to better identify patterns in ferret temperament, health and quality of life related questions in relation to particular care practices applied by ferret owners by collecting and compiling information on the various nuances of how we ferrents* care for our pets.
This blog is moderated by Kenny Mayne, member of the Massachusetts Ferret Friends, but it is the participants who regularly contribute their care practice information, the health status of their ferrets, as well as adding research questions to fine tune this survey that make it what it is.
Periodically survey result updates and points of analysis will also be posted to this blog as a public resource to the ferreting community. The small amount of personal information provided by participants will be kept in strict confidence and under no circumstances will any particular caregiver practice be publically or privately identified, questioned or commented on by the moderator or any participant of this survey, excepting under an extreme concern that a ferret might be experiencing genuine abuse or neglect.
*All ferret owners as well as humans owned by ferrets, otherwise know as "ferrents", are invited to contribute to this exciting endeavor for the benefit of our fuzzy friends!
